Luxury cotton nightgown for women Stephanie is one of four nightie styles in Louise’s cotton collection which are smocked. Stephanie is a romantic cotton nightgown with 3/4 sleeves and a beautiful bodice hand embroidered with pale blue  rosebuds and white lilies. Stephanie has country charm.

Smocking creates comfort

Smocked nighties are the roomiest gowns. The smocking over the bust creates the gathering of fabric.This extra soft cotton fabric cascades down into the skirt and over your tummy and hips.It opens out into the rest of the skirt and gives you lots and lots of room for your legs to stretch out.

Other smocked styles are Bouquet of flowers, Caroline  and Lola. Bouquet of flowers and Caroline are basically the same body as Stephanie. Essentially,the only difference is the embroideries on the bodice.

She is perfect for small medium and large ladies. She is a very dainty gown for all three. However Stephanie is particularly good for women who may be small or medium size in general but have a bust bigger than small or medium. Choosing Stephanie means that they have comfort in their shoulders and bust but are still in a small or medium gown shape.

Louise’s soft pure cotton

Her cotton is a signature of Louise Mitchell. It is a favourite with her clients. The more you wash it the softer it becomes. Clients love its breath ability and  lightweight.

Yoke on the back.

Luxury cotton sleepwear Stephanie has a yoke on the back shoulders. This also has gathering. If you need it, this gathering goes into the skirt and gives you extra room. If you don’t need the room, the skirt falls down straight.

Pleating

Fine cotton pleating goes around the neck and the skirt hem. There is a front opening with pearl shell buttons so you can pull on and off with ease.

Length is to mid calf on most women.  115-120 cms  45-46 inches. Our model is 175 cms  5 ft 8 inches tall.

Sleeves are 3/4 length. They come between your elbow and wrist. 3/4 sleeves are pretty aren’t they.
