Hand smocking on the bodice of cotton nightie Lola

Louise’s embroiderers have stitched white hand smocking from the shoulders to the bust.

This smocking gives you gathering over your bust. Consequently, the gathered cotton fabric falls down over your tummy and over your hips. Wonderful if you need extra room in your shoulders or bust.

Back yoke

Cotton nightgown Lola’s back yoke has more gathers.As a result, ease is created  across your shoulders. And loads of soft cotton fabric cascades into the skirt. So comfortable.

Then you  will have plenty of room to stretch your legs and move around.

Bodice beauty.

The eye is drawn to Lola’s lovely bodice.

Rows of big hand embroidered white bullion roses have been stitched across the white smocking on Lola’s bodice. Four small bouquets of white roses and daisies have been hand embroidered under the smocking. These bouquets have white satin stitch ribbons tied in bows.

Cotton nightie Lola’s sleeves are cap. Lovely for hot summer nights.

There is a front opening with mother of pearl buttons and loops.

Lola’s length  is 3/4 which means she comes to mid calf on most women.Length is 115-120 cms or 45-46 inches.

Sizing. Lola’s sizing is larger than other styles. Small is more like medium, medium like large and large more like extra large.
