White hand smocking on bodice.

White hand smocking has been embroidered from the shoulders to the bust. As a result, this gives you gathering over your bust. Importantly, the gathered cotton fabric falls down over your tummy and over your hips. Wonderful if you need extra room in your shoulders or bust.

In addition, Lola’s back yoke with more gathers creates ease across your shoulders and loads of soft cotton fabric cascades into the skirt. So comfortable. You  will have plenty of room to stretch your legs and move around.

Please note ,there is no embroidery on the back yoke.

Bodice beauty

Louise’s beloved hand embroiderers have stitched rows of big, classic white bullion roses across the white smocking. together with four small bouquets of white roses and daisies embroidered under the smocking. These bouquets have white satin stitch ribbons tied in bows.

There is a front opening with mother of pearl buttons and loops.

Cotton nightgown Lola’s length  is 3/4 which means she comes to mid calf on most women. Length is 115-120 cms or 45-48 inches.

There is no need to iron Lola. Just the feeling of Lola’s soft cotton next to your skin is all you need.
