Dewdrop is a pure cotton nightie beloved for her comfort and roominess.
Smocked nightgowns are the roomiest gowns. Dewdrop has a band of white hand smocking across her bust. This smocking creates gathering in the bodice which allows luxurious amounts of soft cotton fabric to cascade into the skirt.
This extra fabric gives you lots and lots of room in your bust, over your tummy and in your legs.
Cotton nightie Dewdrop is for all sizes
She is perfect for small, medium and large. She is a very dainty gown for all three. However, Dewdrop is particularly appropriate for women whose bust size is bigger than their overall size. For instance, you may have a medium size bust but have a small waist and hips. This is a perennial problem. You can choose small size in Dewdrop because the smocked bodice will give you extra bust room.
Length is 115-120 cms. This comes to mid calf on most of Louise’s clients
Sleeve is cap. Perfect for summer.

Soft pure cotton
Louise ‘s cotton is a favourite with her clients. The more you wash it the softer it becomes.Clients love its breathability, and long lasting properties.
Louise’s US client from Atlanta wrote “Your gowns are amazing.Overtime and washingthe cotton becomes so soft and comforting.”
Our lovely Swiss Dot Snow drop collection has all the same qualities.

“The Snow drop.” by Hans Christian Anderson {adapted}
The snow lay deep, for it was winter time. The winter winds blew cold, but there was one house where all
was snug and warm. And in the house lay a little flower-in its bulb it lay, under the earth and the snow.

The Swiss Dot design was first created in St Gallen Switzerland in 1750
St Gallen was one of the famous textile hubs from the 15th century
It was traditionally used in fairy dream wedding dresses and baby clothes
In the old days Swiss Dot was woven on hand looms
White, cream, pink, gray and black are the most common dot shades
Louise is contemplating black dots on white cotton for a future collection
Swiss Dot is highly popular today in the fashion industry.
