The silk  falls luxuriously down from a feminine scooped neckline. A 4 cm band of large bullion roses and leaves has been hand embroidered all around the neckline. The hand embroidery adds beauty and luxury.

Fine pin tucks about 1 cm apart have been stitched perfectly down the front bodice to the waist. They add comfort across your bust and shoulders. Monica’s pin tucked sleeves are 3/4 length.

Louise has her favourite pin tuck stitching ladies. It calls for vertical perfection and not everyone can perform!

Importantly, the pin tucks add extra fabric in the skirt for your comfort.

However, keep in mind that these are fine pin tucks. Firstly they do not create as much silk fabric in the skirt as silk nightie Alexandra. She has wider pin tucks.

Secondly silk gown Michelle has smocking and gathering under the bodice. Silk gown Michelle gives you the most fabric in the skirt.

On the weekend Monica tootles down to her country house. She tends her garden, takes the dogs for long walks, sees friends and then tootles discretely back to the city on Sunday afternoon. Sometimes Monica goes out on Sydney harbour. Monica likes the simple things in life…….a really good time!

Louise advises that you wash your silk nightgowns by hand or put them in a bag in the machine. Use only soft cleansers. Then hang on a coat hanger to drip dry.

Importantly, there is no need to iron as wrinkling is minimal, the sign of superior silk.
