Pin tucked bodice
The pin tucks across the front bodice create extra Swiss Dot cotton fabric. This fabric cascades over your tummy and hips. Consequently you have more room in the skirt to stretch out your legs. The bodice pin tucks are sewn in groups of three right across the bodice and down almost to the waist.
Maternity
The front opening on the bodice is almost to the waist.
This makes Snowbell a comfortable cotton nightie for maternity. There are genuine mother of pearl buttons in the front opening.
Length is 115-120 cms, mid calf on most of Louise’s clients
Sleeves are 3/4 length and give you a little arm mystery.

The Swiss Dot design was first created in St Gallen Switzerland in 1750
St Gallen was one of the famous textile hubs from the 15th century
It was traditionally used in fairy dream wedding dresses and baby clothes
In the old days Swiss Dot was woven on hand looms
White, cream, pink, gray and black are the most common dot shades
Louise is contemplating black dots on white cotton for a future collection
