White hand smocking has been embroidered by our very skilled ladies from the shoulders to the bust. Firstly, this smocking gives you gathering over your bust.Secondly, the gathered cotton fabric falls down over your tummy and over your hips. Wonderful if you need extra room in your shoulders or bust and your hips.

Your eye focuses for beauty on cotton nightie Lola’s richly embroidered bodice.Rows of big hand embroidered pink bullion roses have been stitched across the white smocking on the front bodice. Four small bouquets of pink roses and daisies have been hand embroidered under the smocking. These bouquets have white satin stitch ribbons tied in bows.

Sleeves are 3/4 length. Sometimes we need a little arm mystery!

There is a front opening with mother of pearl buttons and loops.
