Hand smocking on bodice.

Louise’s beloved embroiderers have stitched white hand smocking from the shoulders to the bust. Therefore  you have gathering over your bust.

As a result,the gathered cotton fabric falls over your tummy and down over your hips. Wonderful if you need extra room in your shoulders or bust.

Lola’s back yoke with more gathers creates additional ease across your shoulders. Loads of soft cotton fabric cascades into the skirt. So comfortable. You  will have plenty of room to stretch your legs and move around.

Bodice beauty. Lovely big pink roses.

Rows of big hand embroidered pink bullion roses have been stitched across the white smocking. Four small bouquets of pink roses and daisies have been hand embroidered under the smocking. These bouquets have white satin stitch ribbons tied in bows.

Sleeves are cap, so wonderful in the hot Australian summer nights.

There is a front opening with mother of pearl buttons and loops.

Lola’s length  is 3/4 which means she comes to mid calf on most women.Length is 115-120 cms or 45-46 inches.
